Pool Party !! Saturday June 3rd,2006

Saturday we threw a pool party to celebrate Zoe's first birthday. Her birthday is not until the 18th but we celebrated early beacuse our best friend are going home for the summer. We invited three families that we are good friends with, 15 people total. It was a blast.














We had birthday muffins instead of cake.

Zoe loved opening her presents...













..but she liked the paper better.












After swimming, Zoe hung out with Josiah.



















Ellie just kept swimming and swimming.



















Scott did all of the grilling. It was a great summer BBQ.














After dinner Zowee and Kevin played on the swing.














Zoe played with Daniel. (Oh no!! She is holding hands with a boy!!)














The guys hung out and talked and...
The kids retired to playing on a very cool picnic blanket. Everyone had so much fun.

I very highly suggest this kind of casual party for any summer birthday.
